Tow Truck Service – Removal of Illegally Parked Vehicles

The tow service in Banja Luka is responsible for removing illegally parked vehicles from public areas and roads to ensure smooth traffic flow and pedestrian safety. Most interventions take place in the city center, on sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, and other locations where improper parking endangers safety and movement.

Drivers whose cars have been towed can contact the Tow Service at +387 51 380 860 for details on procedures and pickup location. The vehicle does not have to be collected by the owner – another person may do so with an ID card. The current fee is 60 KM paid directly to the Tow Service, plus 40 KM payable to the Banja Luka police. An extra 10 KM per day is charged if the vehicle stays in the depot longer than 24 hours.

The Rakovačke Bare depot is located at Bitoljska bb and is open for vehicle pickup during the day, while after 21:00 only the duty phone is active. If no cars remain in the depot, the line may be unavailable at night. To avoid inconvenience and costs, drivers are advised to respect traffic rules and stay informed about the Tow Service, which helps keep Banja Luka’s streets safer and traffic flow smoother.
